The Queensland Government supports and encourages the dissemination and exchange of information. However, copyright protects material on this web site.

The Generate web site accepts and publishes content submitted from a range of sources. Any work submitted to Generate remains the property of the originating author, and will be publicly attributed as such. The views expressed in such articles appearing on the Generate website are entirely those of the attributed originating author, not the Generate web site or Department of Communities, Queensland Government.

All work contributed by third parties to Generate will be attributed with either,

1. Author name, organisation or other authority (if applicable)
   (ie. Author: Joe Bloggs, Ethical Widgets Association), or
2. Organisation name/government agency name, direct contact information for the authorising staff member
   (ie. Contributed by: Office of Departments, Queensland Government. Contact: Principal Departments Coordination Officer, phone number, email address.
   

When submitting content to Generate authors must attest that they are the original author of the work and that any citation or appropriation of other people's work within its content has been appropriately referenced or otherwise cleared and approved by the relevant copyright holder.

If you believe that your work has been used on Generate in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, contact the Government Gateway Manager on the details below with a description of the work, its location on the site and a statement that it is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.

Where a page or part of a page on the Generate web site is unattributed, by default it is implied that the Government Gateway Team, Smart Service Queensland, Department of Communities, Queensland Government, holds copyright ownership of the work.
