Boards and Committees

All about government boards and committees

Government boards and committees play an important role in government decision-making. Some boards and committees provide policy advice on particular issues, others are consulted about the best way to approach an issue, and some oversee government trading enterprises.

There are over 600 boards, committees, and statutory authorities across Queensland. To find out what boards and committees there are, what they do, and who is on them visit the Register of Appointees to Queensland Government Bodies.
