About this section

Every government and public organisation makes important decisions on behalf of local, state, national and global communities.

To make sure Queenslands diverse communities continue to thrive, the Queensland Government consults regularly with people from these communities. This practice is commonly known as Community Engagement.

You are one of the people that the Queensland Government wants to engage, and your needs and opinions are diverse, unique and important. As a young person, your advice is valuable to decision-makers because they are often quite removed from what it is like to be young in modern society.

As a casual employee, a school-leaver, a home-leaver, a uni student, a trainee, a new employee, a club hopper and so much more, you have important information to contribute to help create the kind of society you want to live in.

You can also learn about the outcomes of previous consultations listed on Generate (when this information is available), and how the Generate email newsletter can update you on opportunities to have your say.
