YMCA Youth Parliament

What is YMCA Queensland Youth Parliament?

YMCA Queensland Youth Parliament involves 89 young people from around Queensland (aged between 15 and 25 inclusive), who want to make a difference in their community.

These young leaders unite to discuss the real issues that matter to young people.

Through a seven month development program that provides training, mentoring and support the young people develop personal, leadership and community skills.

The program includes a week-long camp in Brisbane at the beginning of July each year.

During the camp youth members debate their Youth Bills in Parliament House.
