Queensland Youth Council Vacancy in Mackay-Whitsunday Region

Nominations are now being called for a young person to represent the Mackay Whitsunday Region on the Queensland Youth Council.  The Council is a forum for information exchange between young people and the Queensland Government.

Applicants aged 15-25 years are invited to apply for a temporary vacancy on the council, ending March 2007.

The Mackay Whitsunday Region representative will need to be:

  • a current resident of the Mackay Whitsunday Region, or be able to maintain a close association with youth in the Mackay Whitsunday Region; and
  • able to undertake community engagement activities within the region.

Young people from all backgrounds and circumstances are encouraged to apply.
