Have your say about arts and culture for young people

Arts Queensland is the part of the State Government which provides advice on arts funding and programs.

We are developing an action plan to support children and young people in the arts and invite you to tell us what you think.

The action plan will cover a range of arts and cultural activities, including for example:

  • music
  • traditional and contemporary dance
  • digital media
  • painting
  • drawing
  • stencil and street art
  • logos
  • design
  • theatre
  • reading
  • writing
  • traditional storytelling
  • photography
  • film
  • museums and galleries
  • animation
  • festivals
  • fashion
  • circus performance
  • craft
  • graphic design
  • other contemporary types of art

We would like to hear from you about the kinds of arts and cultural activities you like to get involved in and what you need so you can do more of these things.

Have your say by completing the online questionnaire on the Arts Queensland website.

Responses are due by Friday 7 December 2007.

A summary of the findings and a copy of the action plan will be posted on the Arts Queensland website in early 2008.

Thank you for your participation and we look forward to hearing your views and ideas!
